Bengals run effectiveness and OL numbers

February 04, 2022 03:51AM
They were 23rd in YPC. Football Outsiders rated their OL as 15th in run blocking (31st pass blocking). In the playoffs they're 9th in rushing (88.0 yards/game).

On PFF, their OL was ranked 20th overall on the season. Only two of their OL (LT Williams 77.9, LG Spain 72.3) were rated higher than the Rams lowest rated OL (Edwards 67.5).

The weakest link on their OL all year was at RG. I would expect AD to line up there quite a bit. Maybe another sack by throwing the guard at the QB like vs. ARZ?...

By the way, Bengals were also exactly in the middle (16th) in both 3rd down conversions and red zone scoring.

The Bengal pass blocking is so poor they probably cannot hold well either, lol.
