So, I live in SoCal and was tuned in to the sports wrap-up show on Fox-11 News after the game. Among their weekly guest commentators are Jackie Slater, Vince Ferragamo, and Ron Pitts. It's a pretty good show as Jackie is always fired up.
Anyways, as this was the NFCCG, the show went longer than normal and the hosts were seated on the SoFi field. In the background you could see the grounds crew driving over the various painted parts of the field with golf cart-sized vehicles that had liquid tanks affixed to them. Someone explained that the vehicles were oversized carpet shampoo cleaners and the tanks were filled with some sort of cleaner that could strip the paint from the turf and vacuum it up. I assume they let it dry out before painting over it again.
The commentator noted a couple of other things that the crew had to do with respect to branding that typically isn't done when they have to switch between Ram and Charger games that I don't remember.
What I DO remember, though, is that the commentator noted that he felt as though he had a busted ear drum from all the extra crowd noise that SoFi pumped in when the 9'ers had the ball. Dude said it was nuts.
