Please... refresh my memory.
Little side story... my wife and I were driving down to LA for a game one year and listening to KMPC.. Rams radio... and normall it would be ALL Ram's talk... but this day... their was a guy that had climbed some tower in downtown Hollywood, near that round Capital Records building, (not on it), threatened suicide. That was on KMPC when we left my home town in central calif, some 250 miles from the Coliseum until we pulled into Hollywood on the Freeway and SURE AS HELL, we looked over and saw that guy on the tower. Happy ending...
He didn't jump... at least he didn't on that occasion. I hope he got his issues worked out. But we did miss RAMS talk because of it... which, ahem, I commented on to my wife... who scolded me severely. "A MANS LIFE WAS AT STAKE AND YOU'RE @#$%& ABOUT GETTING RAMS GAME DAY UPDATES?"... and yes, meekly, I was. It gets sadder... After all these years... that was in the 70's probably?, I have yet to garner the guilt I should have felt for then for putting my Rams over a suicide jumper.
The moral of this story... if you die, or if "I" die', I'll be heartbroken... but if the Ram's game is about to kickoff... I'm gonna hold off on that remorse for just a TAD. - JamesJM
