Eric Weddle should teach Troy Reeder how to tackle

February 01, 2022 09:10AM
I’m watching some replays of the entire post season. Weddle tackling Fournette in the open field. He gives up 40-50 pounds and stops him at the point of forward progress.

I think Reeder still operates at a slower recognition mode. He clearly give coaches the assurance he can get his teammates in the right spots and make adjustments. He’s big. He runs a 4.6 40. But there’s times when I see him unable to do things that Eric Weddle does regularly.
