Yeah, Siena was kind of a big deal for a while and I followed them closely but never made it to one of their viewing parties.
I know exactly what you're talking about when you describe your friendship with Den. I had a similar experience, sitting next to the only other guy wearing a Rams jersey at the Recovery Room in 2013 to watch a game, and striking up a friendship that continues today. That particular Recovery Room is an Urgent Care facility now (which, thankfully, neither of us has ever been to), but Paul and I get together somewhere for any game that isn't televised and text when the game is on 'regular' TV.
Do you ever get out to LA for a game? I manage to get out for 2 or 3 games a year & would love to meet up sometime.
Also, I have run a couple trips to MetLife Stadium to see the Rams play the Giants. I have looped in a few Herdsters to join our tailgate there and it has worked out well and been a blast. The Rams are playing at NY again in 2023 and as long as the date is workable (i.e., Sept or Oct or possible Nov). I'll be running another one. I've been in touch with Den about our previous trips: maybe you and he could join us in 2023?
And yes, it is a crazy, small world. I just looked it up and Den lives 1.6 miles from me ...
