In games like this last one and when the final gun sounds I do NOT celebrate... and right now you're thinking to yourself, "What the HELL, JamesJM"... and I don't blame you... but here's why...

I do not celebrate "immediately".... and that because I have to wait and check, then check again, then check again, then check again that no yellow flags are on the field. And even after confirming no yellow flags I still have to wait... just a moment.... watching to see if the security guards are clearing the rowdy fans from the field because something is amiss and the game isn't officially over. Who knows? Maybe Roger Goodell has called and said, "Wait up, we've decided you have to extend the game 15 seconds".

I have to have 150% confirmation that the game has truly ended and that the Rams are the victors.
