I have a nagging suspicion that the ref DID see it, but didn't call it because the kick was good. I think if it had been blocked, the ref would have tossed a flag. The line judge was not in any vids that I've seen, so I don't know if he started to reach for his flag or not. I could be very wrong, but I suspect he figured that no harm, no foul -- let the celebration go on.
