the left tackle question

January 25, 2022 07:14AM
This is skipping ahead. But listening to the 11 Personnel podcast and discussion about how well Noteboom has played, etc.

Seems to me like there are one of two ways to go in 2022:

1. Whitworth returns, allow Noteboom to leave (and recoup a compensatory pick), develop Jackson for 2023.
2. Whitworth retires, re-sign Noteboom, Jackson is the 3rd OT.

I don't know which is more likely. The one scenario that isn't happening is both Whitworth and Noteboom being Rams in 2022.

If you're confident that Noteboom can be a legitimate left tackle

I saw somewhere that Noteboom graded out better than Whit
