I think I'm the only person on this board that cannot remember the exact year I became a Ram fan... although I know it was pre-1960.. but it could have been '57, '58 most likely, or '59.
Reading that about Tom Fears I looked up that '51 Ram roster and I know a LOT of those names... but remember actually watching them play? Not really. And yet, at the same time... I know for sure I somehow considered Crazy Legs, Norm, Younger, Waterfield, Hoerner, my heroes. Always been an avid reader so in those first years of fandom I read a LOT of Ram's history... so today the mix of what I read and what I saw, in the 50's, are one and the same. - JamesJM
