they may be wanting to get paid more after this season. if we get close and don't win it all, they may be willing to take a little less in order to try again next season. Pure speculation - of which I'm wrong often.

You are assuming and making an educated guess based on history (sports cliche)

If players win a ring not under contract with the team they are on, the normally move on for the money.

We will see.

If they get a ring or not, I don't think both of them move on.

Just my opinion... I could be wrong.
