Someone posted in the comments that that was the last good thing to happen to the Rams until the GSOT in 1999. And it's hard to argue. The next week they got crushed in the NFC Championship game 30-3 by the 49ers, Everett went from the heir apparent to Chrissy and the team started it's rapid decline, ultimately resulting in them moving after '94. I suppose there must have been something good along the way, but within 2 years, Robinson was fired and they were scoring just 14 ppg.

That really was the last good thing about those '80's teams and the clear end of an era. What a bittersweet play.
