His arm was as good as anyone's. I remember when he came into that Patriots game in 1986 thinking "wow, this guy's arm is better than Ferragamo's." Such a contrast to their recent QBs like Dils, Kemp, Brock, etc. He was absolutely an elite QB in 1988 and 1989.

Also forgot he was actually pretty good his first couple seasons in New Orleans.
