Is that you can hear this same sentiment from so many different places. From x players to x coaches to even people on this board who say the same thing. So how does Sean McVay keep having the same problem over and over again? And I'm not questioning his genius. I think he's an amazing offensive mind. I just don't understand how he always falls into this trap of insisting on long developing routes when his offensive line is getting murdered and then making some of the most dumbfounding choices at the wrong time in terms of play calling and strategy.
And that's what makes him a good coach, but not a great coach. I agree that he has an amazing offensive mind but I do question his genius. In fact, it's been a while since anyone in sports media has used that term to describe him. They used to, though. Hmmmmm......
