Both Jourdan and Rich had some blunt criticism of McVay’s playcalling and Morris’ lack of adjustments in 2nd half. And when I say blunt I’m not kidding.
Some have posted that Jourdan as a beat reporter is compromised in her ability to criticize the Rams for fear of losing access. Don’t believe it. She didn’t hold back on either McVay or Morris.
Jourdan stated that Shanny exposed Rams fatal flaws at ILB and now Safety in 2nd half and attacked them mercilessly, providing a perfect blueprint for future playoff opponents. Involved a simple adjustment at halftime that Morris never had an answer for. Gulp…
I wish they had devoted some time to discussing the OL implosion in the 2nd half but they didn’t.
As an aside, I have very little confidence in Morris’ ability to scheme around our ILB and Safety flaws. It would be nice to give the starting DL players an occasional breather. I mean, Duh!
