I'm starting to have more doubts about McVay. My early impressions were that he was a big-brained, smart coach but the years are not supporting that idea. His analytic mind may be impressive but his actual decision making and ability to adapt are lacking.

More and more, I don't like what he's saying with his coach speak either. Too much seems hollow and now he's openly criticizing the fans. Clearly, he doesn't address all the problems that he claims need to be cleaned up which suggest that he's just paying lip service to these things for the press conference.

Hopefully I'm just imagining it but it seems like the veneer is starting to crack.
