No wonder Shanny punted the ball back to the Rams, he probably knew exactly what McVay would do......and he did
up by 7 with 1st and 10 on Rams 40 with 1:50 left....
McVay decides to run the EXACT same run play three straight times for five yards and punts the ball back to Niners with 1:27 left on the clock....
McVay seemed to think making the Niners burn timeouts was more important that getting ONE first down and WINNING this game.
McVay took the ball out of his prized QB's hands who we traded two first round picks for who, besides a bad INT early in the game , was having a pretty good day
Probably one of the worst three play calls McVay has ever called
I don't have a beef or complaint.
The playoffs (single elimination tournament) begins next weekend and the Rams are in it.
Rams fans are all wound up as if they didn't make the playoffs and if they did they did it will be one and done.
This team can beat anyone in front of them in single elimination NFL tournament.
I'm very excited for next Monday night vs the Cardinals.
