Can Powell Contribute On Offense?

I get it...he's only been on the team since December. But like with OBJ, can't the Rams give him a small package of offensive plays to be able to contribute in an emergency?

More specifically, with his speed and shiftiness...would he not be eligible for jet sweeps...even if it were for eye candy?
