I think most guys on this board appreciate what McVay has done for this team. I also think it's fair to identify his poor tendencies and critique them. We want perfection and to win every game. That's normal.
While I've been critical of McVay's "cutsey" plays I believe I've seen improvement this season. He's using the run more consistently and running fewer cutsey plays. He's a very young coach and he has one of the best winning percentages in the league over the last few years. Since he is improving his coaching skills I see that he has the capacity to grow. There's no reason not to expect him to win a few SBs. The future looks good with him. He's proven that emphatically.
