For the life of me, I still do not understand why punt returners fair catch balls inside the 10 yd line...I JUST DON"T GET IT.
Can anyone explain why?
Never used to see that. But punters are so skilled at backing the ball up like a sand wedge that it makes sense to fair catch the ball just inside he 10 rather than let it roll inside the 5.
