I'm NOT saying to go back to 3yds & a cloud of dust. Just need to be more slight of formation and faking.
The runs need to mesh better and make it less obvious that we're gonna pass....is all I'm saying.
Removing the threat of running just makes team 1 dimensional...and helps the defense.
We just need to get more balance and pick better formations for passing - like reduce the empty sets to a minimum and keep the run threat active.
Few teams can be 1 dimensional and still win consistently. Slight of hand from PA buys time and sows the pass rush. Otherwise, every NFL team is just too good now when they know you will do one or the other. That's all I'm saying.
