First half of the season we were missing him and we lost a few games trying to figure out RB. Thankfully they made that move for Michel, we would be fighting for our playoff lives right now without him.
RB matters. And it matters in this offense. And Akers is a fine RB who fires this OL up. So yeah it was a huge hit and I don't think people give the Rams cred for overcoming not just his injury but also Woody's. Rams have dealt with some big hits on that injury front and losing Jones was big for our defense, especially given how well he was playing for us.
