This was a great trade based on production alone but when look at what is now a terrible contract for Goff it makes this a great trade. Nothing worse than having a QB who can't do the job and has lost the confidence of the head coach take up a huge amount of cap space.
Hopefully, Goff can rebuild his career but hats of to Snead for pulling this one off. Got to wonder what was rolling around in McVay/Snead head when they decided they had to offer Goff the contract a year early. When you have a 5th year plus 2 Franchise Tag years is seems you ought to be darn sure he is your guy. That said I love the way they got out of the deal.
