What seems more likely to me is that the Omicron variant is being passed around: it is way more contagious than Delta, which was already more contagious than Alpha

On the one hand, ‘experts’ seem to agree that the Omicron variant is much more contagious than other versions.
OTOH, the ‘experts’ also agree that the resultant symptoms are much more mild.
Question.
Where is the health risk for these athletes, really? So, why can’t they play the freaking game, especially if they’re asymptomatic?
I think that the NFL is using a sledge hammer as a fly swatter here, frankly.
