Odell is too good to be the third wheel. That will be Jefferson's role.
As to his mental outlook, my hope is he's figured out by now that you need a team around you to matter in this league. Rams offer everything he wants, unless he's still in the younger mindset of putting himself first in everything. So I don't know how that's going to work out. He was very much the diva in his career before but right now I see a guy blocking and risking his body across the middle.
He mentioned that he's still learning this offense. Which tells me the staff is working hard to get him into each week's gameplan. I mean that's what you do for a prodigious talent like him. Rams are not stupid like Cleveland. So there is a balance there without a doubt, where they are trying to ensure he understands what they need from him every week and a conscious effort in the play calling to get him the ball.
