In addition to trying to win the SB, OBJ is also playing for his next contract. He's a FA after the season and if he's as smart as McVay says he is OBJ has to know that if he toes the line for the rest of the year he's in line for a big payday in the offseason.
If he really needs to be 'the man' he'll just sign with someone else next year (and send the Rams a comp pock in the process) ... but I don't expect a lick of trouble from OBJ this season no matter what.
