I don't know if it explains the slow start since they often do that, but I did get the feeling that they were playing it very conservatively against the Seahawks. Like, they didn't want to show anything on tape that they were going to use next week. Didn't seem like they took as many deep shots. Probably had mostly to do with being shorthanded but I still felt like they were just playing it vanilla.

Also, Vikings are on a short week too. If they don't have Thelien, our matchup greatly improves.
