NFL teams have to tell why players miss game in order to comply with league requirements for reporting injuries & illnesses.

But the NFL has no such rules for coaches. I think we all know its covid, but the Rams are probably just respecting the privacy of the coaches. (They might have even asked the team to do that ...)
