The league and players association MUST do 2 things to save this season.
One, postpone this week's slate of games.
Two, go back and completely rethink (quickly) this absurd testing protocol that is making mountains out of non-existent mole hills.
When did the standard become being positive for some iffy test instead of actually being sick?
If the NFL and the PA can't come to their senses, this season is going to either become some kind of a weird witches brew of needlessly decimated teams having to play, or the season being cancelled altogether.
The main issue without question is going to be just how much the NFL and the PA can check their egos, eat some crow, and back down from their near hysterical reactions to Covid and what they have been demanding of teams and players.
The common sense result should be that vaccinated players should NOT be tested at all UNLESS they have definite Covid symptoms.
The unvaccinated guys? Test'em every day if they want to. It is their right not to get jabbed; but choices have consequences.
