I do think we need to address safety
Hesitation to let Burgess out there, and some dread about free safety, and whose covering the deep backend point to a gap.
However, the way we've played the backend doesn't suggest we have a floating FS to my eye.
And it's been that way dating back to Phillips. That zone style or whatever the scheme is that keeps a spy in the deep area just doesn't appear to us.
So perhaps I've overweighted that FS spot.
Still, the absence of John Johnson makes for topical conversation.
