The NFL is either going to have to change its protocols for vaccinated players who test positive but are entirely asymptomatic, or they're going to have to put the season on hold. Otherwise, the season is going to quickly turn into a farce. When you have players that are fully healthy but some test says a virus is present in them... and these tests can be wrong or too sensitive (just ask Higbee)... this is taking "caution" to a new level that doesn't seem to warrant it.
I don't know the best course of action. But when the players of an organization have been fully responsible and have done what the league asked them to do, but at random large numbers of players are still testing positive, then it is not reasonable to essentially punish that team based on assumptions and fears and "what if''s" over something which they have no control.
