It wasn't some coaches conspiracy from McVay and Morris to keep them off the field. No, the reason is they are both TERRIBLE. Hopkins is a tight end who can't block. Ok if you have the skill set of Jimmy Graham, but he doesn't. Burgess is a DB who cannot tackle. Just awful flopping attempts that were embarrassing.
I imagine both will be gone next year. 2 draft pick misses. I don't have a problem with that. It happens, they both had good college tape.
