Long (illness) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Long didn't practice at all this week, so his status comes as no surprise. The cornerback didn't play any defensive snaps during the Rams' Week 12 loss to the Packers, so his absence likely won't impact Los Angeles' defensive rotations.When Long and Rochell are both available Long usually gets more snaps than Rochelle. They tried expanding Rochell's role in weeks 5 & 6, but abandoned that mostly in favor of Deayon. I'm not even sure Deayon played before week 6, but right now Long is #4 and Rochell is #5 (behind Ramsey, Williams, and Deayon)
