Agree it's spot on. I think Atwell will be one of the worst, if not the worst draft decision for Snead in his career. It was 'only' a 2nd round pick, but when you go years with no first rounders - a 2nd is your top pick. The Creed Humphrey decision was a no-brainer and I think they outsmarted themselves. As many have pointed out, now we're stuck with a solid center who will be a free agent at the end of the year. How could they not see Creed as a great fit and a smart Financial decision for 2022. Baffling.
The Troy Hill thing is really a glaring mistake. Thinking David Long could fill in was wishful thinking. Their DB depth was not great, and again, maybe with the success they had with Hill and Willams they thought they could elevate the pieces they had. At that point, they hadn't even drafter Rochelle yet. Maybe the 2nd round pick should have been a CB?
The Jackson thing was a good idea, he just couldn't stand not to be the focus. I put that on him - he could have been a role player.
Kenny Young - I have mixed feelings. He's definitely better than Reeded, but I think Jones has a higher upside. Young has had some good games, but also some complete stinkers. He's very inconsistent. No reason to trade him for a bag of magic beans, could have kept him and at least had depth as Reeder struggled.
