If Michel finishes strong down the stretch, lets say 800-850 yards rushing and shows well in the playoffs, he will get a pretty good payday somewhere. And I would be just fine going into 2022 with Akers, Henderson, Calais and Funk. Plus maybe draft a RB on day 3 like you really should every year.
Do we really want to rely on Akers and Henderson as the primary backs as plan A? That sounds like asking for trouble. Neither of these guys has shown that they can carry the load, much less stay healthy. I'd rather go with 2 unknowns if I had to choose. I don't expect Akers or Henderson to ever be a reliable starter.
