I cringed at the end of that game Sunday when Matthew stayed in, got his ankle/leg rolled on a bit, came up with a limp...ahead by a good bit. I remember last year when Cooper got hurt when it looked like he wasn't even hit.
Records are great to hang your hat on for both the player,team and fans.....but man you think we are hampered without Woods....don't want to even say the words.....but really in my mind, I just want him staying healthy #1....records be damned.....the records will fall if they fall.....
Tell you what IMO would be better....OBJ/Jefferson go off the last 5 games...record setting going off...one or the other, for a 5 game period.......That would be a real pain for other teams......OR better yet our RB duo go off and do a similar of what Anderson pulled off a few years back....get our run game into the 145-180 per game. That would be at the consequences of Coops numbers going down...but ask him what he would say about that.....bet he'd smile and say Hell Yeah...what ever it takes brother!
