I expected a lot more from Stafford but I would still make the trade
IMO, McVay isn't helping Stafford as well as he could. Stafford is new to this offense and has/had no timing with our WR's. McVay has Stafford throwing the ball too much IMO. It's like he thinks he's playing Madden.
It seems like we are running more "empty sets" too which tells the D we are passing making it even harder on Stafford. A good run game would go a long way to helping Stafford succeed.
IMO, Goff had some warts but also had some intangibles too. The kid was tough and had won BIG games in spite of his warts. IMO, if McVay adjusts his play calls in the SB, we might have won that thing and Goff would've been a hero. lol
Let's see how Stafford does in the BIG games first. He failed his first BIG test on Monday and the week before too. He has a bad record against the Pack so here is another chance for him to show what he got. Having said that, McVay HAS to help him too!
If Matt can win some Playoff games like Jared did, I will feel better about the trade. Let's see what happens. It's like watching a movie and we are only half way through.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
