No reason to attack posters or for anyone to attack you 53. It seems pretty counter-productive to me.
One thing is true for everyone here, we all love the Rams and want them to win. People see things differently no doubt about it. Stafford has been awful the past two games.
The Rams as a team were awful against the niners. I want Morris to change what he is doing because the way I see the talent on that side of the ball should allow the team to play more of an attacking style of D. I dont think this D is made up of players who do good thinking and reacting.
A few things I see on the defense. They are not good tacklers, they do not run to the ball very well, to me there just arent enough Rams around the ball all the time, they dont run and hit and hunt so to speak and that is a reflection of the type of scheme they are running and its a passive scheme and these players are becoming passive in it. Its a rarity when you see passion from anyone but Ramsey anymore, Donald seems subdued and so does Floyd...I just want to see this defense get after people. The talent is there for that style of defense. They need to get out of this shell and start attacking people, try to disrupt routes and make the qb hold the ball so Donald and Floyd and Miller can get home. The Rams have elite talent and they are playing as if the D is filled with mid level talent.
I know you know this, make the Niner qb hold the ball and take away the middle and slants and make him throw it down the field with pressure and tighter coverage and he will struggle give him easy lanes and the wrs and tes free releases and he can and will toss slants and curls into those holes all night long getting rid of the ball before Donald ever has a prayer of getting anywhere near the QB.
It wouldnt hurt if the referees would ever call another team for holding Donald and some of the other Rams rushers once in awhile too, I have seen so much blatant holding go unpunished by the refs, i am shocked the Rams players dont lose their cool more often then they do. They get held a ton and it rarely if ever gets called its not something I am making up, it happens a ton and I know you watch the film so you see it.
