Re: Question about Myles Jack

The dead money for both Gurley and Goff are gone after this season. As things currently stand the Rams have only $289,443 in dead money for 2022. [overthecap.com]

The Rams have only $6M in cap space next year, but can generate over $45M more if they want to. If you're interested, this post [ramsrule.com] shows how the Rams can get $10.5M by restructuring Donald, $11.5M by restructuring Ramsey, $11M by restructuring/extending Stafford, and another $13M if Whit retires.

And according to overthecap.com the Rams currently have $88.9M in cap space in 2023 and $150.8M in 2024.

As for Myles Jack, it wouldn't be all that hard to fit him under the cap if that's what the Rams want to do. It's long, but the details are here for those who are interested: [ramsrule.com] (Note: that post was written before thoughts of trading Jackson came to light. It would be even easier with that additional cap relief in 2021 than it appeared even 3 days ago.)
