on AD...watching it he clearly hit him around the shoulder pads, not the head. Are they now saying the pads are the head area? Funny thing about it was AD worked around it and next time went for his finger instead of his head.....that worked without a flag.
I've actually wondered if our defense going easy on opposing QB's, to avoid penalties, is partly why they are having trouble making tackles? We have had so many almost sacks that seem to be because our guys are using kid gloves to take QB's down. Is this a conscious approach or just coincidence? For the most part, I have applauded the restraint our guys have shown when they've had an opportunity to blow someone up and chose not to. But, I do think the overall mentality is losing us some sacks.
