I stated how much I disliked accepting that penalty. Not many, (maybe no one?), agree and I understand that... but to me it was by far the better choice to decline the penalty... won't go into exactly why, already did that on the Game Time Forum.
But it brings this up: To me there were at least a couple of decisions, and I think more, that smelled STRONGLY of pep talk rallying... IOW... "We trust you D, you'll step up". More in the hopes of inspiring the D, or at least showing faith and support in them than actually believing it was the best decision. - JamesJM
