That's not true. There are plenty of threads lamenting the poor play of the offense and Stafford in particular. Kupp, Michele, etc. There were plenty of shortcomings on offense and fans were not happy about it.
But, other than Michel's fumble, the offense wasn't putting the defense in such a bad position that they couldn't reasonably overcome it. Giving up 27+ points per game on the season. No turnovers forced in over 2 games now. Many have been complaining about how "soft" the defense looks all year.
