McVay is a smart and ambitious HC. He definitely wants to win and win. Now.

Moreover, he has been immersing himself in the Rams D since the last year of the Phillips regime.

So I’m guessing that McVay will or already has gotten into Morris’ grill. Changes are likely coming and soon.

Could be that Morris modifies his D or could be that McVay has to fire him.

Too much has been invested in this current team in terms of cap, picks, and coaching reputations to let this D slide continue.
