Of course there's Stafford. It was very frustrating to see him not ready to go but once he settled down, the offense was really clicking. Could have easily had 2 more TD's on top of the great day he did have. e.
more worried that Rams are using all their breaks up now. There are times there are just weird things that happen--flurry of injuries, etc
Stafford has had 2 TDs where the DBs have just fallen down...now that happens, but not a lot---and fortunate things like that
never seem to last---like dropped INTS and things...
just hope the good fortune continues---and teams stay on track
that said, it was a great win against a good team...and it was dominating performance
I agree that you can't count on fluky things happening as a plan of action but the Jefferson TD and Jackson TD are different to me, than say a tipped pass that somehow finds it's way to a receiver. Jefferson and Jackson both created their good luck IMO. Not to mention, Stafford actually capitalizing on their being wide open.
Jackson's speed created the situation of the Safety falling down. That is creating your own luck. As opposed to a schematic breakdown. Gronk being left uncovered for example.
Granted, it's splitting hairs but I don't think the Rams are succeeding with lucky bounces as much as they are stressing defenses into mistakes.
