Sean McVay Names 1 Player Rams Need To Get More InvolvedChris Rosvoglou 10 hrs ago
The Los Angeles Rams’ offense has looked great through the first two weeks of the season, but head coach Sean McVay seems quite disappointed with the way he has utilized one particular player.

While speaking to the media on Monday afternoon, McVay revealed that he would like to get veteran wideout DeSean Jackson more involved in the offense.
“I have to figure out a better way to get him involved. He’s too good of a player,” McVay told reporters, via Rams Wire. “We brought him here to impact and influence the game and that’s something that’s going to be reflected moving forward. Really, there’s nothing that DeSean didn’t do. I’ve got to figure out a better way of getting him involved in a rotation, so that he can affect and influence the outcome of the game and that’s what you’ll see moving forward.”
Through the first two games, Jackson has two catches for 21 yards. At this moment, Cooper Kupp, Tyler Higbee, Darrell Henderson Jr., Van Jefferson and Robert Woods all have more receiving yards. Most of the targets this season have gone to Kupp, who already has 271 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Jackson’s best days are behind him, but McVay believes he could be a big-play threat in his offense.
If the Rams can find a way to properly utilize Jackson in their offense, they might just be unstoppable this season.
We’ll see if McVay dials up a few deep shots for Jackson this Sunday, as Los Angeles will take on Tampa Bay in what might just be an NFC Championship preview.
