in the areas of Manhattan to Hermosa....a couple on the beach 1 day out of the 5 and only the 1 time....Not saying they are not there but no tents, none of that tell tale odors, or trash anywhere we walked...and we walked like 4-6 miles a day along both the Strand and the shoreline....Never got around to Redondo (heard good about it) and some we met said that the Palo Verdes gives great views, but we kinda stayed MB and Hermosa.
