In a no chance of a return situation why not have your best hands back there? It doesn't mean Tutu, or Funk, or anyone else has 'bad' hands... it's simply the safest bet. Hell, if Rob Havenstein had the best hands I'd put him back there, why they hell not? It's not like he's going to go renegade and refuse to fair catch. laughing smiley - JamesJM

If it's not a knock on his hands, then what is it? His decision making? Lack of experience? It wasn't like this was a crucial playoff game or a major divisional game...it was game 1 and wasn't even a crucial point of the game.

It's not only a sign that Tutu isn't ready to be our PR but neither is anyone else on our roster. lol

I understand your "best hands" explanation and agree to an extent. IMO, this just told me a lot about our PR position by putting Kupp there in game 1. I just think we are short on talent at PR and KR. We obviously have nobody we can trust there besides Kupp. lol

Based on the "best hands" theory, then we should just leave Kupp there permanently, correct? After all, as you say: "it's simply the safest bet". What happens next week when the Colts punt? Don't we want our "best hands" in the all the time...every game?

Based on McVay's decision\explanation last week, if Tutu or anyone else is back there as PR, we simply don't have the best hands in there. Will next week be less "important" than last week? Can we afford to "trust" Tutu or Funk or anyone else back there? Apparently McVay didn't think so last week. I guess we will see on Sunday! beer cheer smiley

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
