Stafford is intentionally staring down a receiver and then quickly pivoting to his primary deep target. Maybe we see a lot of "busted coverages" against the Rams this year.
I also have a vague memory of Dre Bly playing against a strong armed QB and maybe losing some concentration in his coverage late in the play. Bly later said: "I didn't think he could throw it that far."
Other QBs look off the Safety but I am starting to wonder how much better Stafford is at it than most. And with his arm, the passing range adds to it all.
