What were the logistics like (considering this was the first time SoFi Stadium/Inglewood hosted a capacity crowd)?
1) What was it like navigating in/out of the stadium? Any recommendations? My parking pass was for the orange lot. It was a breeze. we got to the parking lot about 2 1/2 hours before the game. No traffic at all getting into the stadium. They let people in the stadium two hours before the game so we got in right when the opened. Those two hours go by quick. The place is so visually stimulating and there's so much going on that you don't even notice the time. The game seems like it flew by.
2) Did it take a long time to get through ticket gates? This is where I had some issues. But they probably won't apply to you unless you're rocking a wheelchair.
3) Were all concession vendors in operation?Concessions were no problem for us. Lines went quick. They ran out of cookies but everything else we wanted was ready to go.
4) Did you get a sense as to whether or not the venue can affect opponents in yerms of crowd noise?I was up in the nosebleeds and it was louder than hell but who knows what it sounds like on the field. The PA system was super loud. Unfortunately I think my seats were right in front of a speaker that pointed out from the video board. I had to put earplugs on after an hour. Definitely got some ear fatigue.
Unless you have eagle eyes you might want to stay away from the upper deck. Things are tiny on the field. It's kind of hard not to want to just watch the huge oculus screen instead of the field. At least that's how it was for everybody who I went with.
