I can't be down on a guy because of injury history, or illnesses....IMO he'll become a real good addition. His issue is to get on the field and put some tape together....His health issue was not of his own doing, I am a bit perplexed with this knee thing....if it was in there after last season or happened during camp time it should have been addressed way before they did the work, if he tweaked it in a practice that's something else.
Either way he will be a good addition and we for sure need his body out there as much as possible, he's a big part of how this D will defend/attack. I'm all in on ARob.....he is capable of the job.
I'm assuming that it was a minor issue that occurred during camp. I only say that because, by all accounts, he arrived at camp in great condition and performed well early on (not sure if either of that could've taken place if he was gimpy late-spring/early summer). There was no talk of him NOT playing in the pre-season games due to injury. Therefore, I assume that he didn't play because he'd already proved his value to the team (unlike, say...Kiser).
I agree, though, that I'm looking forward to him stopping our opponents' rushing attack.
