At the time he was drafted, he was going by Alaric Jackson. I was surprised that he wasn't drafted, to be honest.
I think he started 42 games for the Iowa Hawkeyes at left tackle (they typically have great offensive linemen, so that was a great start). And he was dominant during his play there.
He had a bad pro day and mixed results at the Senior Bowl.
But apparently, he's gone vegan and lost some weight. From what I saw at joint practices and in preseason games, he has solid potential.
Hopefully, Kevin Carberry can prepare him for a larger role in the future.
